✨ 𝗬𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁!
The first day of the conference kicked off with a fantastic plenary session, setting the stage for the deep-dive technical discussions to come. It was a real highlight to finally be back in the community and we are happy about all the good feedback about the first conference day. The evening program also provided a great opportunity for networking and exchange.

🔍 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
We are diving deep into the latest trends and demands in tribology, e.g.:
- Regulatory requirements ⚖️
- New technologies 💡
- Innovative materials & lubricants 🛠️
- Life cycle analyses 🔄
- Machine learning 🤖

A key point in the discussion: How do we communicate the right answers to these challenges? It’s not about "greenwashing" but about real solutions, especially regarding Scope 4 (Avoided Emissions) 🌍 and the cost-saving potentials of tribological measures 💰.

💡 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴!
The plenary session has already concluded with talks from Sebastian Heiner about "Outlook for the global lubicant market" and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tim Hosenfeldt about "Ecodesign for Sustainable Motion" and now we are deep into the technical sessions, which are running in three parallel sessions. Each session offers valuable insights on different aspects of tribology.

Events like Nextlub are essential to foster exchange, inspiration, and collaboration. Especially after the limitations of the pandemic, it becomes even clearer how important personal contact is for innovation and progress in our industry.
